Air Duct Cleaning – Ductwork Cleaning Services

Our latest member Extraduct is a Devon-based Air Duct Cleaning Specialist and at our recent BIG Breakfast event, Martin their MD shared with us the reasons why regular air duct cleaning is important:

  1. Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations: Businesses are required to comply with health and safety regulations that dictate the quality of indoor air. Regular air duct cleaning can help ensure that your business is in compliance with these regulations.
  2. Improve Employee Health and Productivity: Poor indoor air quality can cause a range of health problems for employees, including headaches, allergies, and respiratory issues. These health problems can lead to increased absenteeism and decreased productivity. Regular air duct cleaning can help improve the indoor air quality of your business, which can help keep employees healthy and productive.
  3. Enhance Customer Experience: If your business has poor indoor air quality, it can negatively impact the experience of your customers. For example, if you run a restaurant, customers may be turned off by unpleasant odors coming from the air ducts. Regular air duct cleaning can help improve the overall experience of your customers, which can lead to repeat business and positive reviews.
  4. Increase HVAC Efficiency and Lifespan: HVAC systems that are clogged with dirt and debris have to work harder to circulate air throughout your business, which can lead to higher energy bills and a shorter lifespan for your HVAC system. Regular air duct cleaning can help keep your HVAC system running efficiently, which can save you money on energy bills and reduce the need for costly repairs.

In summary, regular air duct cleaning is crucial for businesses to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, improve employee health and productivity, enhance customer experience, and increase the efficiency and lifespan of HVAC systems, Extractaduct is a Devon-based business that can help you achieve that.

Accounting Software for Small Business

As a business networking group we know the importance of  accounting software for small business and we know that there are several internet-based accounting software options available, some of the popular ones include:

  1. QuickBooks Online: This is one of the most widely used accounting software for any small business. It offers all the standard features that you’d expect like invoicing, expense tracking, and reporting features along with integrations with other business tools which may be useful depending on your business requirements..
  2. Xero: This is a very easy-to-use accounting software that again has the usual features such as invoicing, bank reconciliation, and expense tracking, and importantly Xero also integrates with a wide range of other business tools.
  3. FreshBooks: This accounting software says it’s designed for small businesses and freelancers and offers the usual features that you’d expect as well as time tracking, and project management.
  4. Wave Accounting: This software is a free-to-use web-based accounting software designed specifically for small businesses, the costs come into play with add-ons that you may need for your business.
  5. Zoho Books: This titles itself as a comprehensive accounting software solution that offers the standard features as well as expense tracking, and project management and interestingly also integrates with other Zoho applications such as their award-winning CRM and has a mobile app for on-the-go access.

These are just a few examples, and the best option for your business will depend on your specific needs and preferences. It’s important to compare and evaluate the features, pricing, and ease of use of each option before making a decision.
