Moor Trees and G12 Business Networking

We are proud to announce a partnership with Moor Trees, a local charity dedicated to restoring native woodland on Dartmoor. As part of this partnership, G12 will plant a tree for every new member who joins the group.

We’re delighted to be supporting Moor Trees in their important work to regenerate Dartmoor’s woodlands,” said Alistair Gleave from G12 networking. “We’re also excited to be making a lasting footprint, as a business group local to Dartmoor it is lovely to be able to plant a tree for each new member, that will be there for generations to come.

Moor Trees is a registered charity that exists to grow and plant native broadleaf trees on Dartmoor in response to the nature and climate crisis. They nurture trees from locally sourced seed into saplings at their Devon based community tree nurseries. To date, they have planted more than 155,000 trees and created 151 new woodlands. There are a further 63,000 trees growing in the tree nurseries at this time, with 20,000 ready to plant on sites across Dartmoor this winter.

We’re so grateful for G12’s support,” said Zoe Partridge, Fundraising Manager at Moor Trees. “Their kind donation will allow us to grow and plant even more trees, allowing us to restore vital habitats across Dartmoor. We are also delighted to now be members of the G12 networking group, a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness of our charity mission to the business community”.

We have no compulsory membership, you are more than welcome on a PAYG basis or you can join and receive extra benefits, one of which is now we plant a tree for every new and renewing member.
